Aloe Vera Juice Taste Test: Part 2

April 22, 2011 by We Love Aloe 3 Comments

Hey! Thanks for coming back for round 2 of my Aloe Vera Juice taste test! The second juice I tried was the RealFood Organics.

Day 2: RealFood Organics

Pouring the juice, I noticed that it was thicker and of a more cloudy yellow color than the Lily of the Desert brand. Taste-wise it was similar to the first juice I tried, but lacking the bitterness and slight metallic quality. There was just a teensy bitterness once it hit the sides of my tongue, but then it was gone. There is no aftertaste. It’s a very clean finish. It really tastes like an earthy chardonnay! I like this one a lot better than the first. I personally love white wine.

An hour later, my mouth is fresh still. I feel very clean and refreshed.

According to the label, in addition to Aloe Vera the juice contains: organic burdock (root), ginger (root),turmeric (root), sheep sorrel (aerial), peppermint (leaf), turkey rhubarb (root), and slippery elm (bark). It contains no yeast, wheat, soy, gluten, milk, or artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.

Conclusions: I would surely have this juice again. It was not unpleasant and it went down easier than the first. I suppose I could even mix it with different juices if I wanted to. I like the clean taste my mouth had afterwards. It felt very natural and fresh.

So far, this one is winning. Check back soon for the last juice!

My partner and I really enjoyed reading this blog post, I was just itching to know do you trade featured posts? I am always trying to find someone to make trades with and merely thought I would ask.
